46 year old Spaniard Óscar Sánchez arrived home in Montgat, Barcelona, late on Thursday, after spending 626 days in a jail in Naples after a drug trafficking mafia member had stolen his identity. Oscar’s friends were waiting at Barcelona airport to welcome him home and he thanked them for all their support. He gave some details of his nightmare, saying that he was hit, burnt with cigarettes and kicked in the chest. The Naples Appeals Court ruled last Wednesday to revoke the 14 year prison sentence which had been handed down on the Spaniard for drug trafficking and collaborating with the Camorra mafia. Óscar said that now all he wanted was a normal life, and to find a girlfriend. A fiesta in his barrio of Montgat in Barcelona on Friday night attracted more than 300 people.
